Job summary

Brunel India Pvt Ltd is seeking a cost estimation specialist to lead and review turnaround cost estimates in line with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in cost control for turnarounds or maintenance projects in oil and gas or Petrochemical sectors, with strong analytical skills, mastery of MS Excel, and hands-on SAP experience.

You will drive cost optimization and provide management insights.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cost estimation/cost control, preferably in turnarounds or maintenance projects in oil and gas or Petrochemical Industry.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, particularly MS Excel.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP.
Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Prepare and review turnaround cost estimates
Challenge assumptions
identify gaps
and drive cost optimization
Benchmark costs against historical data and industry standards
Monitor actual expenditure
commitments
accruals
and forecasts against approved budgets
Assess the cost impact of scope changes
add-ons
and deletions
Prepare cost reports
dashboards
and management insights
Identify potential overruns and recommend corrective actions
Support continuous improvement of cost-control systems and practices in line with international best practices
Maintain a strong focus on HSE compliance, safety, and environmental responsibility
