Job description

TASK DESCRIPTION: The incumbent will support the KAF at AAJB, Kuwait. Responsible for maintaining the Calibration/Tool Control/IMRL Program in accordance with the KAMP procedures.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Inventories, stores, and distributes hand tools, test equipment, and IMRL equipment.
  2. Retains a master inventory of all KAF F/A-18 tools, test sets, and IMRL gear.
  3. Tracks the distribution of tools and users in a database system.
  4. Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.
  5. Coordinates calibration of tools and test equipment.
  6. Orders new tools and equipment as required under the KAMP Tool Control Program through the KAF Supply system.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Working knowledge of tools and their uses.
  2. High School Diploma is required.
  3. Must be able to use and operate PCs with database and spreadsheet software, accurately input data, and be capable of operating in an automated supply environment.
  4. US Government or Contractor Tool Attendant experience is preferred but not required.
  5. No security clearance is required.
