Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various electronic devices, including routers, smartphones, laptops, POS devices, and related equipment.
- Perform hardware repairs (L1, L2 & L3) and software troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify root causes and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to perform repairs per manufacturer standards.
- Perform visual mechanical inspections, replacements, and system transactions.
- Create detailed job orders and confirm warranty coverage.
- Maintain an organized, clean work environment with proper handling and storage of equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers, explaining repair processes and timelines clearly.
- Manage customer inquiries, appointments, and service requests via phone, email, and in person.
- Build rapport with customers through effective communication and address concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely repairs and high customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and product developments.
- Achieve targets set by the Division Manager and pursue continuous self-improvement.
- Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in diagnosing hardware and software issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electronics & Electric Circuits or a related field from a recognized institution; certifications or vocational training preferred.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service center technician or similar role, with expertise in electronic device repairs.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good knowledge of telecommunications products, services, and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of workshop conditions, ESD fittings, repair levels, etc.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Dynamic, friendly, and sincere personality.
