We specialize in enabling complex communication networks that are critical to the operations of the Department of Defense, Civilian Government, and Commercial markets. Currently, we are seeking a Systems Administrator Tier II.

This position supports the U.S. Army Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) Global Field Service Representative (FSR) Support Services program. The program provides FSR support of communications for the Government primarily for operability and sustainment of the Tactical and Strategic antenna system such as the Deployable Ku Earth Terminal (DKET), Mobile DKET, Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR)/Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) Access Point (SNAP), United States Marine Corps (USMC) Support Wide Area Network (SWAN) and other terminals and support.

The Systems Administrator Tier II performs activities related to maintaining and operating computer systems and networks, including installing, supporting, and maintaining servers, troubleshooting issues, and supporting network deployment and security.

Responsibilities

• Candidate must be prepared to live and work in Kuwait.
• Work 60 hours per week.
• Maintain and manage network server and systems infrastructure.
• Manage Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and DNS.
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (R2) and Windows Server 2003.
• Support Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2010.
• Manage Symantec Backup Exec and NetApp SNAP manager utilities.
• Support deployment and configuration of network systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and configure network hardware and software.
• Deploy updates and security patches.
• Perform system performance diagnostics and scalability assessments.
• Follow security and DISA guidelines.
• Maintain network documentation such as topology diagrams and configuration reports.
• Utilize BMC Remedy ITSM suite and related tools for asset, change, and knowledge management.
• Participate in workplace meetings and abide by all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Perform other related duties.

Additional Requirements

Other requirements include knowledge of security patches, storage technologies, server performance tuning, network troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills. Candidates must complete all pre-deployment responsibilities before deployment.
