Overview

DataPath, Inc. is a global leader in remote satellite-based communications solutions, supporting critical operations for the Department of Defense, Civilian Government, and Commercial markets. We are seeking a Systems Administrator Tier II.

This role supports the U.S. Army Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) Global Field Service Representative (FSR) Support Services program, providing support for various tactical and strategic communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage network servers and systems infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and DNS.
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (R2) and Windows Server 2003.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2010.
• Manage Symantec Backup Exec and NetApp SNAP Manager utilities.
• Support deployment and configuration of network systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and configure network hardware and software.
• Deploy vendor updates and security patches.
• Perform system performance diagnostics and scalability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with security and DISA guidelines.
• Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration reports.
• Utilize BMC Remedy ITSM suite and related tools for asset, change, and knowledge management.
• Participate in team meetings and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and US DOD Secret Clearance.
• Valid US Passport.
• Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP (must maintain active).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management or related field plus 6 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 7 years, or 11 years of specialized experience.
• Experience working in a military environment for at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of security patches, storage technologies (SAN/NAS), server performance tuning, and management tools (SCCM, SCOM).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Candidate must be prepared to live and work in Kuwait and complete all pre-deployment requirements.
