Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Survey Inspector to lead site surveys and inspections on a major port construction project in Kuwait. The role requires reviewing design plans, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.

You will use advanced survey equipment, prepare inspection reports, and monitor progress while maintaining quality and safety. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 5+ years of survey experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in survey inspection, preferably in port or marine construction projects.
  • Proficiency in using advanced survey equipment and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections throughout all phases of the port construction project
  • Perform design reviews and provide technical input to optimize project plans and specifications
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Utilize advanced survey equipment and techniques to collect and analyze data for project planning and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, including detailed findings, recommendations, and supporting documentation
  • Review and validate contractor's survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on survey-related matters
  • Ensure adherence to local and international construction codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle

Job Description
