Job summary

Kwtsteel is seeking a Maintenance Planner with extensive experience in mechanical maintenance planning for steel manufacturing. You will forecast annual spares, budgets, and downtime activities, and coordinate with the Chief Engineer to ensure timely availability of tools and parts.

You will audit adherence to safety rules and company policies, plan annual shutdowns, coordinate with suppliers and external service engineers, and develop multiple qualified sources for major spares.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with relevant 6+ / 8+ years’ experience.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance planning for steel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EAF, LF, CCM, FTP, cranes, hydraulics, RMHS.

Responsibilities

• Report planning performance, backlog status, and improvement areas.
• Audit compliance with leave, hours, shifts, safety, and authority regulations.
• Coordinate spare parts and maintenance documentation.
• Plan annual shutdown spares, services, and contractor needs.
• Prepare annual maintenance budget and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and Purchase for spares and tools.
• Develop multiple suppliers for major spares.
