UNITED STEEL INDUSTRIAL CO. in Kuwait is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our diverse maintenance team. The role involves preparing spares and performing off-line repair work on equipment and components to support reliability, availability and safety at minimum cost.

You will handle repairs on gearboxes, air blowers, pumps, cranes and other rotating parts, perform preventive maintenance, attend breakdowns, and ensure timely teardown and reassembly using precision tools.

Responsabilidades

• Repairs damaged or defective equipment and assemblies such as gearboxes, air blowers, pumps and rotating parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of machinery to ensure reliability and safety.
• Attend breakdowns and minimize downtime with timely repair work.
• Prepare spares and organize materials for maintenance tasks.
• Align and calibrate machinery using precision instruments and tools.
