Job description

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Steward to join our client's offshore vessel crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accommodation areas, assisting in food service, and supporting onboard housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all crew members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in cabins, mess rooms, and common areas.
• Assist in serving meals and managing galley support tasks as required.
• Handle laundry, linen, and supplies to ensure crew comfort.
• Participate in safety drills and adhere to HSSE policies and emergency procedures.
• Support rigging and slinging operations if trained.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning supplies and accommodation maintenance activities.
• Follow company and statutory health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience on an Offshore Support Vessel.
• Must have the below listed certificates:
  • Valid H2S/BA certificate.
  • Valid HUET (OPITO Approved) certification.
  • Valid STCW certificates (Firefighting, First Aid, and Sea Survival).
  • T-BOSIET (Tropical Basic Safety Induction Emergency Training OPITO Approved).
  • Valid Offshore Medical Fitness Card.
  • Valid Sickness-Free Health Certificate issued by an approved body.
  • Certificates in Rigging & Slinging and Crane Operations (if applicable).
• Previous experience as a steward or similar role on offshore vessels or maritime operations.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team and under offshore conditions.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
