Job description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Candidate should have hands-on experience in the design of pressure vessels, API storage tanks, heat exchangers, and other static equipment relevant to the oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical sectors.
  • Designers with 8 years of experience with good knowledge of vessel design software such as PV ELITE / COMPRESS and TANK.
  • Develop delivery dates and status updates, and ensure proper documentation for the project.
  • Familiarity with ASME, TEMA, and API standards is required.
  • Experience in preparing MDS, MRs, RFQ, technical bid evaluation, equipment selection, TDCs, BOQs, vendor document review, and close-out reports.
  • Experience in ASME U stamp audits and previous attendance at such audits is necessary.
  • Hands-on knowledge in preparing and reviewing vessel design calculations, fabrication drawings, plate development drawings, and nozzle detail drawings.
  • Experience with nozzle analysis using FEA tools (e.g., Nozzle PRO).
  • Assist in resolving issues related to quality, fabrication, transportation, erection, and commissioning as they arise.
