SS Fabricator (Stainless Steel Fabricator)

A SS (stainless steel) fabricator is responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing metal components, structures, and machinery made from stainless steel. The job responsibilities of an SS fabricator typically include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Measuring and marking dimensions and reference points on metal components
• Cutting, shaping, and bending stainless steel using tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment
• Assembling and fitting stainless steel components and structures
• Welding, bolting, and riveting stainless steel components and structures together
• Polishing and finishing stainless steel components to a high-quality finish
