Overview
As a Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our digital presence across social platforms. You’ll help drive brand awareness, product engagement, and community interaction, ensuring our social media channels reflect the innovative and customer-focused nature of the leading retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees all company social media channels and management.
- Develops weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media engagement, promotional and tactical calendars.
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content (static, video, Reels, Stories) across platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter/X, Snapchat.
- Initiate reactive content based on trends, local events, and relevant online conversations.
- Ensures engaging, creative, and innovative content are regularly scheduled and in-line with developed calendars.
- Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external (Vendors, Influencers) and internal teams (Commercial, E-com, Stores) to create a better customer experience.
- Audits and analyses social media presence including digital costs and returns.
- Analyze social media campaigns and paid ads across all channels and ensuring KPI’s and company objectives are met with weekly and monthly reports.
- Train social media recruits on the day-to-day tasks, tools, and processes.
- Assists the Sr. Marketing Manager with social media strategy, analytics, continuous optimization, and improvement of campaigns.
- Ensures the day-to-day activities and responsibilities are continuously completed within respective timings including with team members.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
- Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in social media and/or digital marketing, client, or agency.
- Advanced Knowledge of Social Media Platforms and Web Proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional level of verbal and written communication skills (English and Arabic)
- Exceptional organizational and self-management skills.
- Solid knowledge of marketing, brand, and design principles.
- Socially active with a strong creative mind.
