Job Summary

The Senior Bodyshop Reception Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop reception area, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient job scheduling, and smooth coordination between customers, estimators, and workshop staff. This role also involves supervising reception staff, monitoring workflow, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the bodyshop reception team, ensuring smooth and professional front-desk operations.
  • Manage customer appointments, job cards, and repair order processes efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate and timely communication between customers, insurance companies, and workshop teams.

  • Monitor and follow up on job progress to ensure timely delivery of repaired vehicles.

  • Handle customer complaints and escalations with professionalism and prompt resolution.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering consistent, high-quality service.

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of job orders, estimates, invoices, and related paperwork.

  • Collaborate with the bodyshop manager and estimators for efficient resource planning and workflow management.

  • Train and mentor reception staff to maintain service excellence and adherence to procedures.

  • Prepare daily reports on job status, customer feedback, and reception KPIs for management review.

  • Ensure the reception area maintains a clean, organized, and professional environment at all times.

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Automotive Services, or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a bodyshop or automotive service environment.

  • Strong knowledge of bodyshop processes, customer service standards, and repair order management.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and automotive management software (e.g., Autoline, Kerridge, or similar).

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
