Job description

Applied Behavior Center of Kuwait (ABC) provides early intervention services to children with autism and related disorders. ABC offers educational programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABC offers a full range of educational, home-based, and center-based treatment programs designed to help children with autism and other related developmental disabilities under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

ABC is currently seeking a qualified Speech Therapist (Part-Time). The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing speech deficits, recommending programs to target deficits, meeting with leads and case managers for agreement on targets, activating all necessary speech programs, and developing a speech IEP.

Responsibilities:

  1. One hour with each child on team and one-to-one sessions
  2. Weekly staff meeting
  3. Monthly MBO for each child
  4. Decide speech targets and develop speech portion of IEP for center-based and consultation clients
  5. Track children's progress and draw trend lines weekly on speech targets
  6. Make changes to speech programs or decide next program in sequence as needed
  7. Training for team on how to run speech programs
