Job summary

Al-Kuwait in Kuwait City is seeking a Sous Chef to manage kitchen operations and lead a culinary team. The role focuses on high standards of quality and safety, recipe and menu development, and staff training.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a sous chef role, a culinary arts degree is preferred but not required, and strong organizational and communication skills. The position offers monthly salary of 1000 KD and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in a sous chef position in a professional kitchen environment.
• Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations from prep to service to ensure quality and safety.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the team.
• Develop new recipes and menus.
