Job summary

ZainTECH is seeking a SOC Engineer to design, implement, and continuously optimize our SIEM, SOAR, and related security platforms for enterprise and government customers across the MENA region. This hands-on role owns onboarding log sources, developing detection content, and automating workflows to improve SOC performance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on SIEM experience, strong platform knowledge (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk ES, QRadar, ArcSight, Elastic), and familiarity with

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience designing, implementing, and administering SIEM platforms.
• Strong experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk ES, QRadar, ArcSight or Elastic.
• Experience integrating multiple security technologies including EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, cloud platforms, identity, and threat feeds.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, scripting, APIs, and automation.
• Experience implementing SOAR platforms and security automation workflows.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence integration, and detection engineering principles.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; certifications (Security+, CEH) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Deploy and maintain available, scalable SOC infrastructure across environments.
• Manage upgrades, patching, configuration, and lifecycle activities for stability.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise detection content, dashboards, and alerts.
• Map detection capabilities to MITRE ATT&CK and security standards.
• Integrate security technologies and data sources into the SIEM ecosystem; build parsers and connectors.
• Design and implement SOAR playbooks to automate investigations and responses.
• Provide runbooks, documentation, and continuous improvement across SOC practices.
• Collaborate with Consulting, Incident Response, Product, and Delivery teams.
