Job summary

Zain Group is seeking a SOC Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security monitoring platforms across the MENA region. You will own SIEM/SOAR lifecycle, onboard log sources, tune detection rules, and automate workflows to improve SOC effectiveness.

This hands-on role requires experience with SIEM tools, cloud environments, and incident response in MSSP or enterprise settings. Collaboration with security consulting, product, and delivery teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on SIEM design and administration experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk ES, IBM QRadar).
• Experience integrating multiple security technologies (EDR, firewalls, cloud security).
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, scripting, APIs, and automation.
• Experience implementing SOAR and security automation workflows.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and threat intel integration.
• Experience with enterprise cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/Info Security/CS/IT/Engineering; Security+ or CEH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain SIEM/SOAR platforms for enterprise/MSSP environments.
• Develop detection content, dashboards, alerts, and use cases.
• Integrate security technologies and data sources into the SIEM ecosystem.
• Design SOAR playbooks to automate investigations and responses.
• Provide incident response support and runbooks.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to enhance Managed Security Services.
