Five Rivers Services is seeking a Service Desk Administrator at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Join our team of professionals and apply today!

The Service Desk Administrator provides front-line support, responding to and resolving issues related to computers, printers, and networks. Customers contact the Service Desk via in-person, phone, Remedy, or email. The role requires quick decision-making and detailed task management to ensure unresolved work orders are promptly assigned to the appropriate IT teams. Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate with site Information Management Officers (IMO) to optimize Service Desk resources.
  • Assist IMOs with daily computer, network, and software management for the site and users.
  • Respond immediately to customer inquiries at the Service Desk, troubleshooting and assisting with ticket submissions.
  • Provide telephone support for initial troubleshooting and follow-up calls.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, utilizing Remedy and other tools to log and manage trouble tickets.
  • Accurately determine call routing for unresolved trouble tickets.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft OS issues on Army Gold Master/Universal Gold Master and setup Microsoft Office 2007.
  • Resolve issues with authorized site software with IMOs and users.
  • Create logon and email accounts using Microsoft Exchange Server and User Manager.
  • Manage Network Services with Server Manager, Print Queue Management, and CISCO VMPS.
  • Collaborate within a small, continuous improvement-focused team.
  • Document work performed for accurate reporting of Service Desk activities.
  • Complete tasks and assignments as directed by Supervisors and Management.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Must be a US citizen with an active Secret or higher security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience in a help desk environment.
  • For State-side applicants: valid U.S. passport, ability to obtain an International Driver’s Permit (IDP), U.S. driver’s license, and pass a police clearance and medical exam.
  • For in-country applicants: valid U.S. passport, IDP or Kuwait driver's license, U.S. driver’s license, medical qualifications, visa details, and Civil ID/work visa.
  • Ability to meet health requirements and pass medical/dental exams.
  • Complete CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) Training for overseas deployment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must adhere to DoD 8570.01-M certification requirements, maintaining at least one baseline and one CE certification from the approved list, including options like Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications, etc.
