ConFlip in Al-Kuwait is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. You will weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, reading blueprints and technical documents to ensure precise results, while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in welding in a professional setting.
• Proven ability to read complex blueprints/schematics.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to welding operations.
• Proficiency in operating manual and automated welding tools/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for welding operations by inspecting material dimensions, cutting and grinding surfaces as required.
• Select appropriate equipment, materials and consumables needed for the job.
• Understand and comply with safety regulations when working with welding tools.
• Ensure proper maintenance of welding equipment.
• Cut, measure and shape material as per specifications using hand tools or machines such as saws, shears or chisels.
• Position pieces to be welded into place using clamps or jigs as needed.
• Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
