Support the corporate relationship team by performing in-depth credit analyses, managing a select portfolio of corporate clients, and ensuring the delivery of tailored financial solutions.

Generic Accountabilities

2. Corporate Governance and Compliance Work fully within risk policies and procedures and compliance regulations and ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks

Specific Accountabilities

• Credit Structuring and Analysis: Perform detailed credit analysis and structure financing proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal credit policies. Present cases with minimum supervision to senior officers and support decision-making.
• Portfolio Management: Maintain and monitor a portfolio of medium to large corporate clients. Track exposure levels, covenant compliance, and manage account renewals proactively.
• Client Engagement: Act as a key contact for assigned clients. Address day-to-day requirements, cross-sell solutions, and ensure service satisfaction. Escalate complex needs to senior management appropriately.
• Financial Modelling and Evaluation: Prepare cash flow forecasts and assess financial health through ratio analysis. Generate reports that support risk assessments and business recommendations.
• Credit Process Management: Liaise with credit, risk, and legal teams to ensure efficient processing and approval of credit applications. Respond to credit review queries independently and manage documentation accuracy.
• Remedial Support and Early Warning: Monitor account performance and proactively identify early warning signs. Support remedial actions in coordination with risk and recovery teams where needed.
• MIS and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely MIS reports for assigned portfolios. Analyze portfolio trends and flag risk issues to supervisors.
• Business Development Support: Participate in client meetings

Job Success Factors
Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience in Banking/Financial services

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in corporate banking, with exposure to credit assessment, client interaction, and portfolio management.

Skills

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Proficiency in credit systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
