Kuwait Technical College (ktech) invites applications for the position of Professor in Cybersecurity. The appointment will be based on academic merit, research productivity, teaching experience, and compliance with accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities include teaching, supervising research, mentoring students, developing a research agenda, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Eligibility requires a PhD and substantial academic experience with a strong publication record.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Cybersecurity.
• Bachelor's/Master's in IT or closely related field.
• Degrees from accredited universities and completed on-campus.
• Minimum 8 years in a reputable academic institution.
• Held Associate Professor for 4 years and Assistant Professor for 4 years.
• Minimum 13 full-length, high-quality papers in international journals.
• Scopus h-index 20+ preferred.
• At least three publications in the last five years.
• First author on at least seven publications.
• Research from MSc/PhD theses will not be counted.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in approved curricula.
• Supervise student research projects and academic activities.
• Provide professional mentorship to students.
• Develop and maintain an independent research agenda with measurable output.
• Publish in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases.
• Participate in academic committees and governance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program review processes.
• Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.
