Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Ardiya for a senior procurement engineer. The senior procurement engineer will be responsible for supplier evaluation, creating purchase orders, analyzing data, communicating with vendors, and managing requests for quotations (RFQs).

JOB OBJECTIVES

1. To provide guidance and information in the areas of operation, procedural changes and work instructions
2. To manage overall activities of procurement in all areas of operation.
3. To contribute to the management and monitoring of annual budget allocation and control of procurement in accordance with Company policies and procedures and levels of authority
4. To provide input to the development of processes and procedures to enhance and streamline procurement activities
5. To review the commercial terms and conditions of orders and give guidance to project managers as to the relationship between payment terms and approvals.
6. To review/assess technical specifications, BOQ (bill of quantity), and drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
7. To prepare inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specifications, BOQ’s and Drawings, as per Company requirements
8. To review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine the best price and delivery date.
9. To review quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from the vendors and suppliers.
10. To prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical specifications.
