Job summary

Pace, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in the Middle East, seeks an experienced Planning/Project Controls Specialist for its Kuwait team. You will apply project management and planning tools to ensure milestones and finish dates are achieved.

Responsibilities include analysing schedules, reviewing control procedures, attending progress meetings, coordinating with contractors and clients, and presenting weekly progress dashboards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in development or construction projects.
• Engineering degree required; postgraduate degree and professional membership advantageous.
• Proven ability to analyze schedules, manage claims, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractor schedules and evaluate claims, EOTs, and recovery programs.
• Assist in developing and reviewing project control procedures and systems.
• Attend progress meetings and provide planning input to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for schedule compliance.
• Ensure planning activities comply with contracts and international best practices.
• Monitor progress against baseline and flag delays or risks; recommend improvements.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Support site supervision in resolving planning and scheduling issues.
