Overview

Purpose of the Role: The Senior Marketing Manager – Kuwait & Qatar is a senior leadership role within KFC and the broader Americana Restaurants organization, responsible for leading the full marketing agenda across two of the brand’s most strategic and high-priority markets. With over 140 KFC restaurants and more than 50 years of brand presence, Kuwait and Qatar represent a critical part of KFC’s growth and legacy in the MENA region.

This role requires a strong, well-rounded marketer who can translate transaction-level insights and consumer behavior into powerful, full-funnel marketing plans. The ideal candidate will be skilled in balancing business performance with brand building—driving both short-term impact and long-term equity.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end marketing strategy and execution across Kuwait & Qatar to deliver transaction growth, sales, and profit targets.
  • Turn insights into action through performance-led planning, focused on unlocking occasions, value perceptions, and digital growth.
  • Collaborate with the MENA regional team to shape product, innovation, and communications roadmaps that are consumer-first and market-relevant.

Performance & Growth Management

  • Own the marketing calendar and lead integrated campaign development across dine-in, delivery, and digital channels.
  • Analyze store-level and market-level trends to identify growth levers and performance gaps.
  • Continuously optimize initiatives to deliver ROI and improve customer acquisition, frequency, and retention.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work in close partnership with Operations, Revenue Management, Digital, Supply Chain, Legal, and agency partners to drive seamless execution.
  • Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.

Brand & Consumer Development

  • Deepen consumer understanding to build relevant, resonant, and distinctive brand communication.
  • Drive initiatives that elevate KFC’s equity and reinforce the brand’s leadership in the QSR space.
  • Champion innovation in storytelling, formats, and value delivery to stay ahead of evolving consumer needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven marketing experience, preferably in QSR, food & beverage, or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen with a track record of driving both brand and business results.
  • Confident working cross-functionally and leading multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Data-savvy, insight-led, and execution-strong with high ownership and adaptability.
