Anton is seeking a Consultant - Heavy Oil in Kuwait to provide expert technical guidance on heavy oil operations, focusing on steam generation, injection, and surface facilities. The role demands leadership in root-cause analyses, risk mitigation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in oil & gas, with senior-level advisory experience, strong knowledge of process safety, and proficiency in MS Project.

Qualifications

• 15 years of Oil & Gas experience, including heavy oil production.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical consultancy on heavy oil production operations, equipment, and surface facilities.
• Identify, assess, and resolve complex operational and technical challenges affecting safe, reliable, and efficient heavy oil production.
• Lead troubleshooting, technical assessments, and root-cause analyses for significant or recurring operational issues.
• Develop practical mitigation plans and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Review operating practices, production performance, equipment reliability, and recurring issues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Recommend initiatives to optimize production performance, equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and operating costs.
• Provide technical input on heavy oil production systems, steam generation and injection, OTSG systems, surface facilities, and related equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, recommendations, action plans, and management briefings.
• Provide technical mentoring, coaching, and knowledge transfer to less experienced personnel.
• Support continuous improvement, operational assurance, and risk-management initiatives across heavy oil operations.
