Job summary

Ernst & Young AE is seeking a senior analyst to lead economic and technical analyses supporting electricity, water, and PWPA arrangements in GCC energy markets. The role focuses on tariff policy, interconnection settlements, and regulatory economics.

The ideal candidate will bring energy-economics and financial modelling expertise, with knowledge of PWPA, IWPP models, and cross-border electricity trading. Strong reporting and stakeholder coordination skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead economic analyses supporting PWPA, Bulk Supply Tariff, and electricity/ water transactions
• Analyze generation allocation, plant performance, and desalination interactions
• Evaluate fuel efficiency and fuel-supply agreement analysis
• Benchmark generation and IWPP performance against international indicators
• Support GCC electricity import/export arrangements and interconnector settlements
• Review energy-trading agreements, calculate payable/receivable fees and support settlements
• Analyze cost structures, tariff options, market conditions and revenue forecasts
• Provide regulatory, licensing, tariff-review and annual-budget analytical support
