3M HEALTHCARE seeks an Electrical Metrology Engineer in Kuwait to provide expert engineering services for metrology planning and QA programs. You will research new measurement techniques, calibrate methods, and develop procedures, while coordinating with international facilities to stay current with state-of-the-art metrology practices.

A Secret Clearance and 12+ years in metrology are required. The role emphasizes calibration protocol development, environmental control, and QA accreditation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology, physics or related field, plus 12 years of experience.
• Completion of U.S. military precision measurement and calibration school, with 12 years in metrology/calibration.
• Alternative precision measurement/calibration program with 12 years experience.
• 5 years of technical oversight/training of calibration/repair technicians.
• Experience maintaining calibration lab facilities and environmental control systems.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Responsabilités

• Assess requirements and develop new measurement techniques for electrical, electronic and microwave areas.
• Develop, test and evaluate new calibration methodology; analyze and evaluate equipment.
• Establish test and performance criteria; prescribe calibration approaches and servicing requirements.
• Direct and evaluate development of calibration procedures for assigned equipment.
• Coordinate with technical societies and facilities of other countries to stay current with techniques.
• Conduct laboratory capability studies to enhance support efficiency.
• Develop laboratory operational, environmental, performance and safety criteria.
