Job summary

Linked4HR is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent - Deep Drilling (Residential) in Kuwait to oversee mechanical maintenance for deep drilling land rigs, ensuring equipment reliability and safe operations.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in drilling equipment maintenance, 3+ years in supervision, and hands-on leadership to manage maintenance teams and contractors, while coordinating with Rig Managers and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of drilling equipment maintenance experience.
• 3+ years in a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor/Superintendent role.
• Experience with deep drilling land rigs, 3000 HP and above.
• Experience with CMMS systems preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical maintenance and repair activities across drilling rigs.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive reliability improvements.
• Lead troubleshooting, failure analysis, and major overhauls.
• Ensure availability and management of critical spare parts.
• Support initiatives to minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT).
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Lead and develop mechanical maintenance teams and contractors.
• Coordinate with Rig Managers, OEMs, and service providers.
