Job summary

Alghanim Industries in Kuwait seeks a Sr. Business Analyst to partner with Consumer Credit, Finance and Automation systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial accuracy and digital transformation across the lending lifecycle. You will support Agile and hybrid delivery.

The role covers end-to-end lending processes, integration with core systems, and regulatory reporting, with a focus on IFRS-9, ECL, and controls. On-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 5-10 years as an IT / Business Systems Analyst.
• Mandatory experience in Consumer Credit / Retail Lending and Finance & Accounting systems.
• Experience with LMS, Core Banking / Credit Platforms, and ERPs.
• Exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate consumer credit and finance requirements into functional and technical system specifications
• Support Agile / hybrid project delivery by converting business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while maintaining formal BRD/FSD documentation
• Support end-to-end consumer lending lifecycle: origination, disbursement, servicing, collections, write-offs, and closure
• Ensure accurate interest computation, amortization, fees, penalties, and GL postings
• Integrate lending platforms with core finance systems, payment gateways, and regulatory reporting tools
• Support IFRS-9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL) logic, provisioning, and financial reconciliations
• Lead or support automation initiatives (RPA, workflows, exception handling, reconciliations)
• Ensure compliance with CBK / GCC Central Bank regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls
• Participate in sprint planning, UAT, production releases, incident resolution, and audit queries
