Job summary

Ubuy is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The role focuses on monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing, with responsibilities including preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Economics, and preferably CMA/ACCA certification. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• CMA and ACCA preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Report transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist month-end close with team.
• Support annual audit process and draft financial statements.
• Analyze expense variances for management.
• Prepare financial analyses and revenue forecasting.
• Monitor budgets and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate audit findings and non-compliance.
