Job summary

One Tech Capital is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to coordinate and perform comprehensive accounting duties within our Kuwait-based team. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, budgeting support, and streamlining accounting processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or finance with 10+ years of experience, proficient English, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Knowledge of tax laws and VAT.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and stress management abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
• Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
