Job summary

Horizon Financial Services in Al-Kuwait is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting, prepare statements, and support budgeting, with immediate start.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in accounting or finance roles.
Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
Conduct monthly/quarterly/year-end closing procedures.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
Review expenses for accuracy and ensure proper coding.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Provide support during audits by collecting necessary documents and information.
