Job summary

Al-Kuwait is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy of accounts in our Kuwait office. The role focuses on month-end close, reconciliations, and supporting budgeting processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting, has strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. Experience is preferred but not required; the position offers stable full-time work in a busy finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience as an Accountant preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and registers.
• Reconciling bank statements.
• Preparing monthly management reports.
• Analyzing financial trends and providing insights into KPIs.
• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting.
• Identifying cost savings opportunities.
• Assisting in auditing processes.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Supporting the accounts receivable/payable process.
