Job Title: Senior Accountant – F&B / Restaurant Industry

Location: Ardiya

Department: Finance

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of the F&B / restaurant business. This role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, performing monthly closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost control, inventory accounting, and financial reporting within the F&B or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & General Accounting

  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of books.
  • Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Review and reconcile all balance sheet accounts.

2. Restaurant-Specific Accounting

  • Monitor daily sales, discounts, and voids from POS systems.
  • Manage revenue recognition and cost of sales.
  • Reconcile and audit cash, credit card, and third-party delivery transactions.

3. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Coordinate monthly inventory counts with restaurant teams and cost controller.
  • Analyze food, beverage, and supply costs.
  • Track wastage, spoilage, and ensure accurate COGS reporting.
  • Work with procurement to validate pricing and vendor invoices.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Oversee invoice processing and vendor payments.
  • Ensure timely collections and resolve AR issues.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.

5.Bank Reconciliation

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 in the F&B / restaurant industry.
  • Strong & Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.
