Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services Technician in Kuwait to execute aircraft ground handling and servicing operations. The role supports 24/7/365 flight line activity, ensuring safety, compliance with PWS, and coordination with Supervisors and Airfield Management.

The technician performs marshaling, parking, servicing, turn-around, and departure tasks, maintaining readiness under austere conditions and tight safety protocols.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.
• Experience in aviation operations or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on flight line or ground handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ZERO Harm safety on the flight line including FOD prevention and PPE usage.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning per procedures.
• Execute arrival/departure services including chocking and grounding for safe flight line operations.
• Carry out aircraft servicing supporting turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in launch and recovery operations with supervision and coordination.
• Inspect and service equipment and vehicles used in TAS operations.
• Maintain tool accountability and support tool control programs.
• Participate in FOD prevention and flight line inspections.
• Follow Technical Orders, safety directives, and SOPs during servicing operations.
• Communicate with Supervisors and team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Report safety hazards and equipment issues to leadership.
• Support documentation like servicing records and shift logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of flight line/work areas.
• Support training/qualification to maintain readiness and compliance.
• Perform duties in austere conditions and extreme weather.
