Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services Technician to execute ground handling and servicing operations for aircraft arrivals, marshaling, parking, turn-around, and departures at a designated installation.

The role requires strict safety adherence and 24/7 operations in a high-tempo environment. Reporting to the Supervisor, TAS Technicians ensure all servicing activities comply with the PWS, Technical Orders, and US Government directives, supporting mission readiness and continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by strictly adhering to all flight line safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning as per Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute aircraft arrival and departure services, including chocking and grounding.
• Conduct aircraft servicing operations to support turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations with Supervisors and Airfield Management.
• Inspect and service assigned equipment and vehicles used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool accountability and participate in FOD prevention activities.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and team members to ensure safe execution of tasks.
• Operate in austere conditions and extreme weather while maintaining safety and discipline.
