Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated English Lessons to Secondary students (Years 7-13)
  • Implement the UK National Curriculum effectively, ensuring appropriate differentiation and assessment strategies.
  • Track student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials and teaching strategies.

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities program.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Candidate Requirements

  • Who They're Looking For: A dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and committed to supporting student achievement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field.
  • UK QTS teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching the UK Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills, adaptability, strong teamwork, and a passion for teaching in a diverse, international setting.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: £35,700 - £49,400 per annum (paid in KWD), depending on experience
  • Bonuses/Incentives: End-of-service gratuity payable for contracts of 2+ years.
