KEO International Consultants in Kuwait City seeks a qualified Safety Officer to lead on-site safety for a prestigious government-sector project. You will be on the front line ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards and client requirements.
Daily inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations, and coordination with project teams will be essential. A Degree/Diploma in Safety or Engineering along with NEBOSH certification and relevant safety trainings are preferred.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Safety Officer to join our team and work on a prestigious government sector project in Kuwait City Kuwait
You will be responsible for being on the front line of the safety program that keeps our clients project adhering to the strictest of measures related to the safety for all individuals involved with the program of works We envisage success in this role to include Monitoring and enforcing standards of safety in compliance with KEO s Health and Safety Management System and Client requirements Reviewing and inspecting work areas determining potential occurrence of safety hazards Observing and ensuring staff on site always wear personal protective equipment use hard hats and protective footwear operate construction equipment in a safe manner and follow KEO s safety policies Conducting daily inspections of the projects to ensure compliance and where applicable make recommendations for change In case of emergency determining and investigating the cause of the accident establish a report and provide recommendation s to prevent future occurrences Developing and implementing safety policies needed to reduce accident-related costs Regulating set policies soliciting input from managers and workers Providing training to KEO staff on safety as per OSHA requirements
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10+ years work experience partnered with a Degree/Diploma in a relevant Safety or Engineering field. Chartered status with NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is highly regarded as are safety certifications related to the construction sector that are issued by recognised bodies (Working at Height, Confined Spaces, Fire Fighting, First Aid etc.). As the role will involve periods of time on active construction sites dealing with 3rd parties, multi-lingual candidates will be highly regarded.
Project Experience: Proven experience in mixed-use developments that combine commercial buildings, malls, infrastructure, waterfront/public realm, and marine or marina works. Candidates with a combination of these project types will be preferred
