Job summary

Reservoir Engineer OTA Onsite Support role in Kuwait seeks an experienced professional to provide on-site technical and application support for Landmark Reservoir Engineering and Production Engineering tools, with a strong focus on Nexus. You will work with multidisciplinary subsurface teams to enable simulation, history matching, production forecasting, and field development workflows.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in oil and gas, a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering, and proven capability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on oil & gas experience.
• Proven experience providing onsite technical/application support for Landmark RE/PE apps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Landmark Nexus.
• Solid understanding of reservoir simulation and reservoir engineering workflows.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary subsurface teams and customer-facing support.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical and application support for Landmark Reservoir Engineering and Production Engineering software.
• Support multidisciplinary reservoir engineering and subsurface workflows.
• Provide expert support for Landmark Nexus including Reservoir simulation, Model initialisation, History matching, Production forecasting, Field development workflows.
• Troubleshoot application, project data, workflow and performance-related issues.
• Support reservoir engineering workflows including material balance, decline analysis, reserves evaluation and reservoir management.
• Provide user training, mentoring and knowledge-transfer skills.
• Support application upgrades, patches, testing and technical validation.
• Assist with integration and data exchange between Landmark and other subsurface applications.

We are looking for an experienced Reservoir Engineer OTA Onsite Support to support upcoming oil & gas projects in Kuwait. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience supporting Landmark Reservoir Engineering and Production Engineering applications with particularly strong knowledge of Landmark Nexus.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical and application support for Landmark Reservoir Engineering and Production Engineering software. Support multidisciplinary reservoir engineering and subsurface workflows. Provide expert support for Landmark Nexus including Reservoir simulation, Model initialisation, History matching, Production forecasting, Field development workflows. Troubleshoot application, project data, workflow and performance-related issues. Support reservoir engineering workflows including material balance, decline analysis, reserves evaluation and reservoir management. Provide user training, mentoring and technical knowledge transfer. Strong customer-facing technical support and troubleshooting capabilities. Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring and knowledge-transfer skills.

Highly Desirable

Experience with NETool and ARIES. Exposure to Eclipse and/or tNavigator. Experience with other Landmark Reservoir Engineering / Production Engineering applications. Landmark software training certificates and/or relevant application certifications. Nexus training or certification is highly preferred.
