Job summary

Brunel Oil and Gas Services WLL Qatar is seeking a senior Geoscience Applications Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for Landmark G&G platforms in the Kuwaiti Ahmadi region. You will assist with DSG, OpenWorks and Landmark Classic tools while supporting geological, geophysical and petrophysical workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant hands-on experience providing onsite technical application support for Landmark G&G applications in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with DecisionSpace Geosciences (DSG), OpenWorks (OW) and Landmark Classic G&G applications.
• Experience supporting geological, geophysical and petrophysical workflows.
• Experience providing technical user support, mentoring, training and knowledge transfer.

Bachelor s degree in Geology

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant hands-on experience providing onsite technical application support for Landmark G G applications within the oil gas industry
• Strong hands-on experience with DecisionSpace Geosciences DSG OpenWorks OW and Landmark Classic G G applications
• Experience supporting different geological geophysical and petrophysical workflows
• Experience providing technical user support mentoring training and technical knowledge transfer

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of DecisionSpace Geosciences DSG and its geological and geophysical interpretation workflows
• Strong working knowledge of OpenWorks including project environments and associated data management workflows
• Good working knowledge of relevant Landmark Classic applications including SeisWorks StratWorks ZMAP and associated G G technologies
• Broad understanding of G G workflows including seismic and structural interpretation seismic attributes seismic-to-well integration well correlation velocity depth workflows reservoir mapping stratigraphic interpretation and reservoir characterization
• Understanding of petrophysical data and its integration with geological and geophysical workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot Landmark application project data workflow and performance-related issues
• Knowledge of interoperability and data exchange between Landmark and other subsurface platforms
• Working knowledge of major third-party G G applications is highly preferred
• Exposure to additional Landmark applications such as DecisionSpace Petrophysics DSPP DecisionSpace Earth Modeling DSEM Seismic Analysis and Permedia is advantageous

Certification / Training

• Landmark software training certificates and/or relevant Landmark application certifications are required.
• Training/certification covering DecisionSpace Geosciences, OpenWorks and/or Landmark Classic G&G applications is highly preferred.
