Overview
Are you passionate about creating memorable first impressions? We’re looking for a Reservation Agent who will be the voice of our hotel, helping guests plan their perfect stay and ensuring every booking is handled with care and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to reservation requests by phone, email, and online systems with accuracy and courtesy.
- Handle individual, group, and corporate reservations, ensuring proper entry into the system.
- Maximize room revenue by applying upselling techniques and promoting special offers.
- Monitor daily arrivals, cancellations, and amendments while coordinating with Front Office and Sales teams.
- Assist guests with inquiries about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all reservations comply with hotel standards and policies.
- Support Revenue and Sales teams with regular reporting and forecasts.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure guest satisfaction before arrival.
What we need from you
- Prior experience in a reservations or front office role is an advantage, ideally in a luxury or 5-star hotel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and a friendly, professional manner.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a guest-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
