Job summary

CNTXT AI is seeking detail-oriented Video Annotators to support a Vision-Language-Action dataset project. You will watch short video clips, segment them into steps, and produce precise natural-language instructions describing each action.

Remote, full-time/contract, entry to mid-level professionals with strong English (C1) and attention to detail are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided, and you will follow strict guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in writing.
• Strong written communication; ability to describe actions concisely and precisely.
• Comfort with video annotation tools (training provided).
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and maintain consistency over repetitive tasks.
• Basic computer literacy (file handling, web tools, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Watch videos in full to understand context.
• Segment videos into discrete steps/events based on action boundaries.
• Write clear, concise, step-by-step instructions for each segment.
• Assign start and end timestamps for each segment.
• Follow annotation guidelines and style guides.
• Flag unclear or corrupted videos for QA.
• Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate feedback.
• Meet productivity and quality targets daily/weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of project data.
