Job summary

Confidential in Kuwait seeks a Quality Manager to lead and implement the company’s quality management policies across food manufacturing operations. You will analyze quality data, monitor compliance with international and local standards, and drive continuous improvement to meet agreed quality levels.

The role requires coordinating with production and support functions, handling NCRs and corrective actions, maintaining quality documentation, and preparing comprehensive reports for the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Science or Engineering.
  • Preferably, certifications in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, TQM, EMS, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, Halal, GMP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of quality management policies across the department.
  • Support the maintenance of TQM systems and coordination with the supervisor.
  • Execute approved quality initiatives and programs.
  • Maintain quality data databases and reporting.
  • Use electronic systems to manage quality information and KPIs.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for the supervisor.
  • Communicate quality guidelines and ensure policy visibility.
  • Audit compliance with international and local standards.
  • Analyze data, identify non-conformities, and submit NCRs.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for NCRs and non-conformities.
  • Support internal audits and audit follow-ups.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality documentation and forms.
  • Monitor product quality and deviations from standards.
  • Prepare quality-related reports for the supervisor (QC, NCRs, KPIs, etc.).
  • Identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Implementing policies and procedures of the work department according to the requirements of each of the applicable quality systems in the company, governance, and best practices.
  • Directly supporting the implementation of policies related to Total Quality Management (TQM) systems in coordination with the direct supervisor.
  • Executing all stages of approved departmental work programs and quality initiatives.
  • Maintaining and updating the quality management information database for future reference and reporting.
  • Using approved electronic systems to manage and improve quality data and information.
  • Monitoring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracking achievement rates, and preparing performance reports for the direct supervisor.
  • Ensuring quality awareness guidelines, policies, and instructions are properly communicated and displayed in designated areas.
  • Monitoring the implementation of quality management policies and procedures in accordance with the latest applicable international standards and requirements.
  • Analyzing quality-related data, statistics, and performance indicators and submitting findings to the direct supervisor.
  • Identifying and documenting operational non-conformities through Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Monitoring the implementation of approved corrective and preventive actions related to identified non-conformities.
  • Conducting compliance checks to ensure adherence to the company's applicable quality management standards and procedures.
  • Supporting departments and production facilities during internal quality audits and following up on audit requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Monitoring the company's quality documentation and forms management system to ensure all departments are using the latest approved versions of procedures, policies, and quality forms.
  • Monitoring product quality and identifying any defects or deviations from established company standards.
  • Preparing and submitting quality-related reports to the direct supervisor, including:
