Job Description

• Oversee and manage all quality control operations in the production and delivery of ready-mix concrete.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and systems to ensure product compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM, BS EN).
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and analysis of raw materials, mixes, and final products.
• Ensure all concrete batches meet specifications for strength, workability, durability, and other performance metrics.
• Supervise and train lab technicians and quality control staff.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and site personnel to address any product quality issues.
• Maintain records and prepare quality assurance documentation and reports.
• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
• Investigate product failures and customer complaints, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with external consultants, regulatory agencies, and auditors as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within the ready-mix concrete or construction materials industry.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, ACI, BS EN, or equivalent.
