Public Relations Officer - Media & Marketing

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and confident Public Relations Officer to represent and support all brands under the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the organization’s image, managing media relations, supporting campaigns, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. This role requires someone with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the local culture, and the ability to work across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Image & Media Relations

  • Develop and implement PR strategies for all portfolio entities.
  • Write and distribute press releases and official statements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists, and influencers in Kuwait.
  • Represent the company professionally in media and public appearances.

Event & Campaign PR

  • Coordinate PR efforts for events, sponsorships, and campaigns across different locations.
  • Invite and host the media during events and ensure proper coverage.
  • Support the marketing team with communication, messaging, and media outreach.

Crisis & Reputation Management

  • Monitor media coverage and respond to any issues that may affect brand reputation.
  • Prepare communication plans in case of any crises or sensitive matters.
  • Ensure consistent and unified messaging across all brands.

Internal Communications & Reporting

  • Support internal announcements and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Create content in Arabic and English for speeches, social media, and newsletters.
  • Track PR activities and prepare regular reports on performance and media coverage.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of PR experience, preferably in retail, real estate, or corporate settings.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English (written & spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge of the media landscape in Kuwait and government protocols.
