Job summary

V2X is seeking a Programmer Analyst II to deploy and support SharePoint 2010/2013 solutions and developASP.NET applications for internal customers. The role emphasizes integration with project services and automation of functions, with supervision from the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, report design, data extraction, and SQL optimization. Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance and meet DoD 8570.01M requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD 8570.01M baseline certifications.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with Technical Leads and translate into design specs.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Develop reports with input from staff and users; performance tune reports.
• Conduct code reviews and recommend functional/technical improvements.
• Provide strong SQL coding experience and MS SQL knowledge.
• Work in an environment that is predominantly office-based with some on-the-road tasks.

The Programmer Analyst II is responsible for deploying and supporting custom built and out of the box solutions with SharePoint 2010 Also the position supports and develops software applications using ASP NET for internal customers The role ensures programs are integrated with the services needed on the project and helps to automate functions wherever applicable The Programmer Analyst reports to the Operations Manager but takes direction from the Programmer Analyst III Program OMDAC-SWACA

You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country to include but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a host nation visa and host nation driver s license in order to be qualified for this position

Responsibilities

Work with Technical Leads to gather user requirements and interpret into design specifications Design and develop reports with input from the technical staff and user groups Conduct performance tuning of reports Design implement and maintain code needed for data extraction transformation and loading Test enhancement and development programs and MS SQL code Participate in structured code reviews walkthroughs Make sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the assigned system components and applications Provide strong SQL coding experience with high level knowledge of MS SQL database structure stored procedures etl problem resolution and routine maintenance Detailed functional and process knowledge Utilize deep modeling design and coding skills The working environment will be 80 office and 20 on the road Performs other duties and assignments as required

Experience

Two to three years of experience in developing custom UI solutions in SharePoint 2010 2013 Migrating knowledge from SharePoint 2010 to 2013 big plus Knowledge of installing and configuring SharePoint 2010 Knowledge of integrating SharePoint with other web applications Experience with PowerShell scripting in SharePoint environment 5 years of coding in .Net and Object-Oriented development Experience with ASP NET and MVC framework Proficiency in using Visual Studio 2012 TFS SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Profiler Solid experience in developing custom responsive UI solutions using CSS jQuery JS and HTML5 Advanced knowledge of using MS SQL stored procedure Views Functions Working knowledge of the following languages is a must C VB net MS SQL PowerShell JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3 Familiarity using one of the following libraries or similar other libraries Bootstrap jQuery Underscore js Handlebars js or mustache js Knowledge of network infrastructure and Windows operating systems preferred Strong troubleshooting skills Experience with a customer service-oriented company

Working Environment

The work environment will be 95 indoors and 5 outdoors The outdoor work environment may exceed temperatures 100 degrees F Candidate must be able to physically withstand extreme heat

Physical Requirements

Must be capable of lifting pushing and pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment helmet and plated vest which can weigh 25 to 40lbs for extended periods of time
