Job summary

SOS HR Solutions is hiring a Production Planner in Kuwait to coordinate daily Odoo MRP runs and drive the 4-week master production schedule across eight production sections, including Kanban and safety stock management.

The role requires 3+ years in Make-to-Stock environments, proficiency with Odoo/ERP, strong Excel/MRP analytics, and working English (Arabic a plus). You will lead the Scheduling Officer and ensure on-time Work Order releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production planning experience in a Make-to-Stock (MTS) manufacturing environment.
• Working proficiency with Odoo or an equivalent ERP/MRP system.
• Strong Excel and MRP / material-planning analytical skills.
• Industrial or manufacturing sector background; elevator or MEP component manufacturing is an advantage.
• Working English required; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Daily Odoo MRP run: translate stock positions and demand signals into Work Order releases.
• Phased Sales WO release coordination (SL-G04): manage the phased release of Work Orders in line with the Sales Operations Officer.
• Master Production Schedule: own and maintain a 4-week rolling production schedule balancing the 8 production sections against the elevators/day target.
• Material readiness coordination: coordinate daily kit availability with the Group Warehouse and factory-internal Store Keepers to prevent stock-outs on the active MTS SKUs.
• MTS Kanban pull-flow management: manage the 7-level Kanban system end to end (raw material → machine operating → forming → welding → coating → assembly → dispatch), maintaining Safety Stock, Reorder Point and Max Stock discipline per ABC SKU classification.
• Team leadership: manage and develop the Scheduling Officer, who owns the daily dispatch plan and real-time Work Order progress monitoring.
