Job summary

A.G. Enterprises is seeking a Production Manager for their Plastic PET Preform Manufacturing operations in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field and at least 6-8 years of experience in injection molding and associated machinery.

This position demands supervision of plant operations, ensuring quality production and compliance with safety standards. The salary is competitive, ranging from 650 to 750 KD, and transportation is provided by the company.

• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

We are hiring Production Manager for a leading Plastic PET Preform Manufacturing Co for Kuwait.

Qualification - Bachelors degree / Diploma in Plastic / Production / Industrial or any relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum 6-8 years experience in Injection molding (Preforms) – SIPA PPS 96, Husky Hypet 300 HPP 5/4, Demark 400
• Injection molding (Caps) – Hycap 225 v 3.0, Netstal Elion Hybrid 2200, Ferromatic Milacron 110
• Visual inspection system IMD, INTRAVIS Cap watcher III / Pre watcher
• Blow Molding – Chum power
• Extrusion Blow Molding – Parker, Jagmohan
• Auxiliary Machines – 5-gallon cap heat seal labeling machine & Foam inserting (Wadding) machine
• PAM Machines Crusher, Preforms Grinder & Caps Grinder

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Supervise the entire operations of the facility with an aim of High performance & Low wastage.
2. Ensure High/Good quality production with minimum downtime and rejections.
3. Ensure proper communication with team members for continuous production of the high-quality desired product as per the Work order.
4. Ensure machine process parameters are filled in all the shifts, and accordingly to be verified every morning. (In case of any unusual change, same to be reported to Plant manager).
5. Follow machine startup, shut down and change over procedure as per company guidelines.
6. Verify shift handover report in excel & CMMS; ensure that correct data/reports are being approved and forwarded.
7. Verify breakdown reports in CMMS and ensure timely approvals.
8. Ensure raw material usage, Material wise data of powder or fines coming should be verified and updated to management on daily basis.
9. Shift schedule for laborers and operators to be submitted by 18th every month.
10. Master batch, raw material and packing material excess stock not to be maintained.
11. Ensure the product labels are given as per the standards/ customer requirement. (Through CMMS and Excel).
12. Maintain a clean, safe & Hygienic working environment of the plant as per ISO Guidelines.
13. Follow the Master Batch calibration procedure as per department instruction guidelines.
14. Assure proper distribution of work among laborers and operators, monitor/assess their activities. Monitor and prioritize workflow of production.
15. Give the proper handover/communication to all shift Incharge.
16. Train the New labors, New Joinee or Junior as per Company norms.
17. Ensure that production processes are completed 24X7. (Either physically or by Phone).
18. Co-ordinate with Quality & maintenance & store team.
19. Update the machine breakdowns, new technical request through Computerized web-based software (CMMS).
20. Ensure proper instruction and training is given to the labor and accordingly proper usage of Raw Material/ Packing Material/ FG labels to be monitored.
21. Arrange for essential training for operators and workers as per the work demand.
22. Monitor the inventory for raw material & packing materials Daily basis in the shift beginning.
23. Verify the previous days rejection weights, Average Weights of FG & Packing material consumed along with production operators & Packing material controller.
24. Daily basis rejections/ rejection percentage (as per the DPR) to be discussed with the Plant manager and then to be informed of finance and other departments.
25. Making LTOW and confirming LTIW in ORION System.
26. Planning/Arranging the PAM according to the current production running priority and allotting the same to the stores after verification from finance department.
27. Make sure production raw material & packing material stock without any variance.
28. Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)/ERP System/SAP preferred.
