Product Specialist
This position works out of our Kuwait location in Abbott Diabetes Care Division. As Product Specialist, you'll be responsible to promote the breakthrough product Freestyle Libre to Endocrinologists, Diabetes educators, GPs and internists with special interest in Diabetes as well as other diabetes-related medical specialists within Kuwait. Carry out all sales and promotional activities developed in line with the company sales and marketing strategies and plans.

What You'll Do:

1. Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
2. Implement specific sales strategies developed in conjunction with the line manager and/or other commercial team members for targeted accounts to ensure positive sales outcomes.
3. Initiate the development of close relationships with targeted accounts across Kuwait.
4. Carry out sales calls.
5. Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
6. Conduct group meetings for HPCs to disseminate knowledge about Freestyle Libre and AGP.
7. Achieve the respective area sales targets.
8. Comply with reporting requirements on time as required.
9. Understand competitor environment and activities and monitor market trends.
10. Develop a knowledge and understanding of the company products and services.
11. Abide by Abbott's code of Business Conduct and Ethics regulation as well as the industry law and local law.
12. Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with company image ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
13. Be a team player with proven ability to work across different cultures.

Required Qualifications:

1. Tertiary Qualifications in medical sciences is a must.

Background:

1. At least one-year experience in the sales field of Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices.
2. Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
3. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
