Job summary

Khuff General Trading & Contracting Co. in Kuwait is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing, supplier selection, and purchase-order management within our oil & gas division.

You will manage supplier relationships, evaluate bids, and drive efficient procure-to-pay processes. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in procurement, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or contracting.
• ERP systems proficiency: Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and supplier selection based on pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Purchase order management and Procure-to-Pay cycle oversight.

We are seekingaProcurement Specialistto join ourteam andmanage procurement activities, vendor relationships,purchasing processes, andorder fulfillment. The ideal candidatemust have strongprocurement experience,excellentnegotiation skills, andpreferably a backgroundin theoil & gas sector.

Core Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Selection:Research and identifypotential vendors, obtainand compare quotations, and select reliablesuppliers based onpricing, quality, deliveryschedules, and commercialterms.
• Purchase Order Management:Review internal purchase requisitions, prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), and monitor them throughoutthe procure to pay cycle whileensuring accurate documentation.
• Vendor Negotiation:Negotiate pricing, payment terms,delivery schedules, andother commercial conditionsto achieve thebest value forthe company.
• Order Tracking & Expediting:Monitor outstanding orders, coordinate with suppliers, and warehouse teams, follow up on deliveries, and resolve delivery delays, invoice discrepancies, andother procurement-relatedissues.
• Inventory Coordination:Monitor stock requirements and coordinatewith relevant departmentsto prevent shortagesor excess inventory.
• Vendor Management:Maintain effective relationshipswith suppliers andevaluate vendor performanceto ensure consistentquality, service, andtimely delivery.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field ispreferred.
• Experience:Minimum2–5 yearsof experiencein procurement, purchasing, or contracting, preferablywithin theOil & Gas industry.
• ERP Knowledge:Proficiency in ERPsystems such asMicrosoft Dynamics andOdoo.
• MS Office:Advanced knowledge ofMicrosoft Exceland other MicrosoftOffice applications.
• Negotiation Skills:Strong commercial andnegotiation skills withthe ability toachieve cost effectiveagreements.
• Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitieswith excellent attentionto detail.
• Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills withthe ability tocoordinate effectivelywith internal departmentsand external vendors.
• Organization:Strong time managementskills and theability to handlemultiple procurement activitiessimultaneously.
